Paint’R has developed an innovative and more sustainable packaging solution for the painting industry, designed to improve efficiency at every stage of the workflow. 
Our approach includes close collaboration with manufacturers, a strong focus on environmental impact, and continuous feedback from professional painters.

By integrating all these perspectives into the design process, we ensure that our solution not only reduces waste and plastic use but also delivers real usability and value for the people who work with it every day.

The company is led by Sofie Winge-Petersen, Victoria S. Søgaard, and Johan C. S. Vangstrup, who work together to develop smarter and more sustainable solutions for the painting industry.

Our history

This project began in 2020 when we (a group of six students) attended the Green Entrepreneurship course at DTU. Through this program, we explored various entrepreneurial principles and gained valuable insights into the painting industry, identifying key challenges—one of which was the traditional paint bucket. Determined to tackle this issue, we conducted extensive interviews and workshops with painters and industry professionals. In the spring of 2021, we officially founded our company and dedicated as much time as possible outside our studies to developing a solution.

In 2023, as we completed our studies, we made the joint decision to restructure our team. Three co-founders moved on to pursue new opportunities, while the remaining three of us—part of the original founding team—continued to drive the company forward.
