Our packaging

Our innovative packaging is designed specifically for professional painters, combining convenience with sustainability. The system features a durable cardboard box paired with a specially engineered paint bag, making paint handling safer and easier.

Gone are the days of lifting and pouring heavy buckets. With our solution, painters can simply fold the paint bag onto the sides of the box (or roller bucket), reducing strain and improving workflow on the job.

Not only does this make painting easier, it’s also better for the planet. Our packaging minimizes plastic use and lowers CO₂ emissions compared to traditional buckets.

Smarter. Safer. Sustainable.

How does it work?

Watch the video below to see how the product fits naturally into the painter’s workflow.
Under the video, you’ll find step-by-step images that guide you through the process in detail.

Step 1

A pair of hands wearing gloves cutting open the Paint´R box with a handy knife.

Open the cardboard box.

Step 2

A set of hands wearing gloves opening the seal on the paint bag.

Open the bag by carefully breaking the seal at the top. Make sure to open the entire opening so the paint can flow freely.

Step 3

Paint´R box seen from above. Completely open with the bag around the edges and filled with orange paint.

Fold the edge of the bag over the opening of the cardboard box (or roller bucket). Press the bag firmly down along the edges so it sits securely and doesn’t slip while you paint.

Step 4

An open Paint´R box with orange paint being used by a person using a paint roller.

Paint directly from the cardboard box or pour the paint into a roller tray. You can roll the paint roller against the inside of the box to evenly distribute the paint on the roller and remove any excess paint.

Step 5

An open Paint´R box with an open bag containing orange paint sealed with the Paint´R closing clip. A person wearing painting clothes sitting behind the box.

Close the bag after use by folding the opening together and securing it with the included clip. This keeps the paint fresh and ready for next time.

Key benefits

Waste sorting

Our solution is designed for easy sorting, with the bag and cardboard easily separated. Unlike existing solutions that combine metal and plastic, this simple design makes recycling and disposal more efficient, reducing environmental impact.

Transportation

Transporting round buckets on square pallets is inefficient. We can fit 45% more paint per pallet, reducing CO2 and transportation costs, while optimizing space in stores and warehouses. Our empty packaging takes up just 1/10 the space of traditional buckets.

User convenience

It is easier to handle and significantly reduces CO2 emissions, making it both more climate-friendly and economically more efficient. This leads to lower handling costs and a smaller carbon footprint, benefiting both businesses and the planet.

The closing tool

A durable, reusable closing tool designed to securely seal the paint bag after use. It allows painters to quickly close the packaging and easily reopen it when they are ready to continue working.

The clip helps preserve the paint’s freshness, prevents spills, and ensures the bag stays tightly sealed between uses. Simple, reliable, and built for professional use.

Seal. Store. Continue.

Sustainability

Sustainability is one of the key drivers for our business and a core value for our team.
These are the four pillars in our sustainability agenda

Plastic reduction

Minimizing CO2

Circular design

Social sustainability

Plastic reduction

The packaging reduces plastic use by up to 88% compared to traditional paint buckets, significantly lowering environmental impact. This cut in plastic also results in up to 76% reduction in CO2 emissions from materials and manufacturing. By using more sustainable materials and improving production, we help reduce the carbon footprint of our products.

Minimizing CO2

By rethinking material usage, we can reduce CO2 throughout the product life cycle. By transferring structural strength from plastic to cardboard, we minimize plastic use, which is responsible for most CO2 emissions. In logistics, optimizing space allows us to transport more packaging per pallet, saving CO2. In production, we reduce CO2 emissions by up to 76%.

Circular design

The plastic bucket is often disposed of as hazardous waste or incineration and cannot be recycled. We have designed the packaging with the intent to reduce the surface amount of the packaging that comes into contact with the paint as much as possible. Hence we keep 86% of the packaging (the cardboard) clean and easy to recycle.

Social sustainability

We've designed our product with the painter in mind, focusing on minimizing heavy lifts and awkward positions. To reduce strain, we've made it possible to roll directly from the packaging, eliminating the need for pouring. Additionally, our boxes are designed to be carried one at a time, close to the body, to ease the load.
